i've journeyed past predictability.
right into the expectation of your soul
and out of reincarnated dreams.
feel me. under standing lifetimes lost
from in between. master my poetry.
write scriptures into delicately-layed
parchment, your quill is my fire,
setting ablaze history, resurrected
from the ashes. i see. a metamorphosis,
tiny. discrepancies. tread lightly;
these tree-topped embers permeate deep;
growing cold within new-found light.
i am the antithesis of my imagination,
suspended mid-air, catching glances.
waking to the sound of spirits calling,
i swear i hear my name in the shadows.
it must be you, filtered by oceans.
waving my dreams into hibernation...
it's cold this time of year. let me
warm you from right here. i'm right here.
bridging the time between this moment
and our last 'i do' ... you hear me
clear through night air. distance
is lost in space and time...once again. |
