masochism is unbecoming and

spirit-wrenched...drained
by the wrath of your touch
i've given you far too much
given in far too long and i am
ready to detox, do not leave your
footprints or watch as i shake
sweat-filled tears upon linen.
your golden charm died long ago
soon after you stole my sanity
i cast you from this lifeline
my current flows faster to clear
me of my degradation, my
depreciated soul...cleansed...
resurrecting anew
