i don't think you *actually* understand
what i've tried to say a million different ways,
but never directly to you in plain english…
perhaps i should try german with an irish accent…
tell it to you in emo-punctured <3s…
put in a twang of southern hospitality or
create an orchestra of tree bugs indicating home…
my gravity boots are no longer working and
i'm drifting far too fast for you to see me…
maybe i'm no longer tangible or
accepted as an alternative to your plans but…
is it possible? the sky rests on your shoulders and
i've been trying to show you how…
life is unexplainable…the unpredictability of
your smile is casting shadows into sunlight…
we've reached stagnation…hope-bent translations…
where does the beauty go when you are gone….
cameras call to tell unimaginable stories…
kissed away by tears of fear…you sleep with
ghosts of yesterday…i can't tell you
why i cry…looking for the imperfect solitude
you bleed into my soul…another million ways to say… |
