of the days

rekindling our youth…
snow men
with candy-coated tears…
in valleys of
heart's warm fire…
i remember
the laughter
to side-splitting pain…
circus clown
tumbling acts
and tickle fights…
but shhh…
don't disturb the neighbors…
i am reminded of
hottubs in winter and
riding horseback…
under-table
birthday songs,
still on video tape…
raindrops and waterfalls…
weddings beaches
scooters
rainbows photos
families
fighting fucking feasting
wishing…
i was really
the one
you called 'home'…
the air is
crisp to my nose…
i remember
you
