we drove thousands of miles
to reach this place
where peace resides...
no more masochistic
fatality under breath's door.
look back. fondness. we were
beautiful. once upon time's distant
horizon. we were sunlight. each other's
sunrise. god-screaming to heaven
reaching. interpretation's demise.
look back. fondness. touching me in
soulcore. anxiously relaxed.
spitting fire at demonic
lifelessness. fixating on forever. with
bottomless pits. rock. bottom. hits.
look back. fondness. we were
creation's untruth. through love's
intoxication. leveraging hope to
play fools were we. self-hidden
microcosms filtering. trying.
for the life of me. to be unleashed.
measuring contentment as
variables of dependence.
look back. fondness. data seems
rightly skewed but. you are. still
fondness. in retrospect. |
